The Programs offered by Perfecting Skills are based on the philosophy being perused by the members of our team in the sequential manner in which the Programs have been listed.
We are of the firm opinion and belief that we cannot do today’s jobs with yesterday’s methods and be in the business tomorrow. If knowledge is a corporate asset then training is a strategic initiative for gaining a competitive advantage. Today we co-exist in a world of meritocracy and not mediocrity. Besides the technical knowledge and quantified work output, to be equipped with a considerable amount of soft skills is extremely vital for a professional in the competitive job market.
While hard skills are confined to a specific domain, soft skills are transferable skills essential in every domain. Hard skills stress on “what you say”; in contrast soft skills emphasize on “how you say”.
It‘s a general belief among the employers that unlike hard skills that can be imbibed over a period of time; soft skills can not be imparted in isolation. A person‘s ability to work in a team, lead projects independently, work collaboratively and communicate well is what is being emphasized today while hiring the staff.
Our counselors, advisors and program coordinators at “Perfecting Skills” acknowledge the presence of various elements in the personality of every individual – good, bad or indifferent-how they manage their trait in a professional environment so as to fit aptly with the softer requirement of the job, is the challenge they have been successfully accomplishing.
